- README FOR PS.OBJ
- The following files are included for the fix PS.OBJ in PSOBJ.ZIP:
-
- PS.OBJ 27,194 8-22-91 3:58p
- PSOBJ.DOC (This file)
-
- Purpose/problems:
- This fix is intended for NetWare 286 v2.2 when used with core printing.
- The following problems are addressed in this fix:
-
- 1-Unlike v2.15, v2.2 would not allow more than 2 serial
- printers to be defined when using core printing. This fix
- allows the user to add COM 3 and COM 4 ports.
-
- 2-With core printing installed, serial configuration for ODD
- parity did not work. This fix enables functionality for both
- ODD and EVEN parity.
-
- Installation:
- 1-In your OS generation area, rename the existing PS.OBJ
- file PS.OLD for backup purposes.
-
- 2-Copy this updated version of PS.OBJ into the generation
- area directory.
-
- 3-Relink the OS with the new PS.OBJ file to generate a
- new NET$OS.EXE.
-
- 4-Reboot the server.
